Orders for aluminum profiles used in photovoltaic frames and brackets have grown steadily across China recently, driving a notable rise in demand for upstream processing equipment. Visits to multiple aluminum processing factories in the Pearl River Delta reveal that many small and medium manufacturers are phasing out outdated conventional extruders and purchasing high-precision aluminum extrusion production lines equipped with constant temperature control systems.

Compared with older equipment, the new models keep the dimensional tolerance of profiles within ±0.1mm and reduce waste loss by around 4%, perfectly meeting the mass production requirements of thin-walled aluminum parts for photovoltaics. Equipment manufacturers state that inquiries for photovoltaic-oriented aluminum processing equipment have jumped 32% month-on-month in the past 30 days. Customers from Southeast Asia and the Middle East account for a larger share of foreign trade orders, and the replacement cycle of industrial equipment is being shortened continuously.
